Hello Emu Park Community!
What a joy it has been over the last two weeks to see the resilience of our Prep and Year 1 students as they settled back into the learning at school routine. Although there have been some changes to our routines at school, the students have accepted this and have focussed on learning new and exciting things with their friends and teachers.
We are excited to welcome back our Year 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 students on Monday. Parents please discuss the changes to our school routines which have been made to keep everyone safe as stated in Mr Mac's earlier email. To support your child's transition to school on Monday, please find attached a social story: Returning to School and Learning at School.
I would like to wish Mr M every success as he leaves our school at the end of this week to commence his new role with Queensland Fire and Emergency Service. Mr M has worked incredibly hard to relocate and revitalise our Robotics Hub in LEAP. He has worked with many students through our LEAP projects and supported their development of robotic skills, programming, problem solving and collaboration skills. Thank you Mr M for always coming to our rescue and solving technical issues with a smile on your face.
Today was good. Tomorrow was fun. Tomorrow is another one.
Have a wonderful week.
