The primary goal of the library-resource centre is to provide a supportive environment to enhance effective learning and teaching. To support the development of literacy skills and to encourage children to develop the habit of enjoyment of lifelong reading, a wide range of books by quality authors and illustrators is provided.
Children of all year levels may borrow books from the school resource centre. Parents of young children are welcome to assist them in the borrowing process. A good strong library bag to protect books is essential for borrowers. Student borrowing is closely monitored. A charge may be incurred to replace lost or damaged items. Continued overdue notices may also incur temporary suspension of borrowing rights.
