Emu Park State School Uniform Dress Code
Purpose:
The purpose of this policy is to outline the uniform expectations for all students attending Emu Park State School. The school uniform promotes a sense of pride, belonging, equality, and school identity. By wearing the uniform appropriately, students demonstrate their commitment to representing themselves and Emu Park State School with dignity and respect. A consistent dress code also contributes to a safe and orderly learning environment.
Uniform Expectations:
All students are expected to wear the full school uniform every school day, as well as when representing the school at official functions, excursions, and sporting events, unless otherwise advised.
Uniforms must be:
- Clean and in good condition
- Clearly labelled with the student's name
- Worn with pride and in accordance with this policy
Students are not permitted to deface or graffiti any part of the uniform.

Cold Weather Option
Sun Safety

- Hat: Royal blue, broad‑brimmed or bucket hat.
- Strict “no sun safe hat, no play" policy applies.
- Sunglasses: Polarized sunglasses are permitted but optional.
Jewellery
- Only sleepers or earring studs may be worn. Exceptions for religious or cultural items may be arranged with the principal. All jewellery must be removed before participating in swimming or certain sports.
Make-up
- No make-up is permitted at school.
Purchase & Administration
- Uniforms are available from the Administration Building, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–3:30 pm.
- Purchasing options: in person (EFTPOS available) or via the Qkr! app.

- Polar Fleece Jacket: $45
- Hawker Spray Jacket: $35.
- Unclaimed uniform items are placed in lost property; long-term unclaimed items are donated back to the community.
