Students from Year 4 to Year 6 are invited to join the school’s Instrumental Music Program following a suitability assessment. The Instrumental Music teacher tutors students in Woodwind, Brass and Percussion. A number of school’s instruments are available for 12 months for beginners upon signing of a loan agreement. After 12 months parents are expected to purchase an instrument for their child.

Commencing 2016, all students participating in the program will pay a $25 levy. Student levy ino (PDF, 93KB)

When a student joins the program it is essential that parents strongly support and encourage regular attendance and practice. Commitment to the program and its obligations must be high priority for students and parents.

If a student leaves the program:  You forfeit the levy but get a pro-rata refund of the hire fee.  You will receive the refund after the instrument has been returned.
If a student is not complying with the school behaviour policy and we deem they should discontinue, they get refunded the hire fee pro-rata.  This would be after we have formally made contact with you,
