Emu Park State School is a uniform school. We encourage neatness and tidiness in personal presentation. Our official colours are royal blue and black.
Students are expected to wear the school uniform on a daily basis. Uniforms also need to be worn on school excursions and specific occasions. Wearing of the uniform makes students easily recognisable especially from a safety/supervision aspect. Uniforms are available at the school administration building.
The school uniform of the Emu Park State School is as follows:
Printed school polo shirt in royal blue with 3 coloured strips.
Black skirt or shorts for girls and black above knee shorts for boys.
Sneakers or flat soled leather shoes worn with socks. This footwear is also essential from a health and safety perspective.
In the cooler months students can wear a royal blue jumper and long black pants.
Royal blue sun safe hat. We have a “no sun safe hat, no play” rule. Our school is a no cap area and because caps offer little protection they are not to be brought to school.
Polarized sunglasses are a non compulsory part of our uniform.
Please ensure all items of clothing are properly named. Wearing of graffitied hats, shirts or other items of clothing is not acceptable. Parents are asked to ensure their child doesn’t graffiti their school possessions.
Sleepers or earring studs are the only acceptable items of jewellery to be worn. The wearing of jewellery for religious or personal significance may be negotiated by parents with the school principal. All jewellery must be removed before swimming and some sports.
Uniforms can be purchased from the administration building from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm Monday to Friday. EFTPOS facility is available for your convenience. Uniforms can also be purchased through the Qkr! app.
