Positive and productive communication between our school and our parents is recognised as paramount to the progress and improvement of our student’s learning.

We recommend ongoing contact between parents and the class teacher to maintain awareness of the student’s needs.

  • Our formal reporting commitment for student achievement includes -
  •  Formal written reports (Year 1 – 6) posted to parents at the end of semester 1 and 2 each year
  • Individual student Personal Achievement Award Reports Term 1 and Term 4
  • Twice yearly interviews offered for Prep parents
  • Parent-Teacher interviews offered Term 1, and Term 3 for all parents
  • Report on IEP goals for students with verified disabilities
  • NAPLAN reports issued annually for Year 3 and 5 students (delivered by ACARA to the school)

Parents are welcome to arrange meetings with the class teacher at any stage through the year and request results and reports for specific needs of students. It is best to avoid lengthy discussions before school and during teaching time. By making an appointment you can be sure your child’s teacher has the time and information available to answer all your questions.

Invitations will be extended to parents at various times to attend special occasions to see student’s present work or displays of their activities, either on an individual class or whole of school basis.
