It has been quite a while since I have constructed a newsletter to our parents. This is because all of our information is shared to you through our Facebook site. Many of our school activities and information statements are shared through the following link.

Our school is making changes regarding camps and excursions. A message from our Deputy Principal will be sent home shortly with the details.
My thanks to Allan York who has completed his contract as the School's Officer (Groundsman). After a recent recruitment process I can welcome Shayne Schwennesen to our school as our new School's Officer. Shayne will start with us next term. We also say thanks to Cheril Sell who has finished in her role as school Chaplain and welcome Mel Sell to the position……and yes Mel is Cheril's daughter.
As our months now start to warm up I would like to remind you of our school uniform policy. Please can you assist your child by ensuring a school hat is worn. Students do not require make up and jackets and long pants are not necessary during our hot months.
The school uniform of the Emu Park State School is as follows:
- Printed school polo shirt in royal blue with 3 coloured strips.
- Black skirt or shorts for girls and black above knee shorts for boys.
- Joggers and socks.
- In the cooler months students can wear a royal blue jumper and long black pants
- Royal blue sun safe hat. We have a “no sun safe hat, no play" rule. Our school is a no cap area and because caps offer little protection they are not to be brought to school.
