Dear Parents /Caregivers
Term 3 is quickly moving along and continues to provide many exciting learning and developmental opportunities for our students.
Enrolments for Prep 2022 have begun. We have held the first of our Prep Open Days. Another Open Day will be held on Thursday 19 August commencing at 9:15am. Please share the time and date with friends and family who may have a Prep eligible student for next year. Next term we will be holding our Leap into Prep sessions for children who are enrolled for 2022. Enrolment packs are available from the School office or our website.
Next Thursday our Band students have another wonderful opportunity to workshop and further develop their performance skills with a Music Bootcamp at Yeppoon High School.
Year 1/2P, 2B, 2/3B will all be visiting Cooberrie Park on Thursday 26 August. This excursion will be assisting the students develop ideas, vocabulary and information for the Animal Information reports they will be writing in class.
Jacqui Wright 4J is on leave for the remainder of this term and we welcome Mrs Tara Carroll who is teaching 4J in her absence.
I would like to thank parents and carers who have been ensuring students who are participating in before school learning opportunities are at school on time for these important and beneficial sessions.
Yeppoon High School has commenced their High School transition program for students entering Year 7 in 2022. Enrolments are open and it is important that these are completed as soon as possible so your child can participate in the full transition program.
