Term 3 Updates:

It is hard to believe that it is Term 3 Week 3 already. We already have had a jam packed first three weeks with students participating in many events. We have had many students competing at Regional Shield and KCD athletic. Last Monday we had the first of our 2023 Prep Open Days and on Friday we celebrated NAIDOC week with our official assembly. Congratulations to the senior indigenous students who spoke with great pride and confidence as they led the assembly. A special thank you to Mrs Hamilton, Ms Ellis, Ms Burns and Chappy Cheryl for all the work they did behind the scenes to organise the week and assembly for us. Many of our students took advantage of the free hearing tests that were conducted on site.

We would like to welcome back Mrs Jensen this term and welcome Mrs Deb Perrett to our staff. Mrs Jensen is teaching 4J Monday to Wednesdays and Mrs Perrett will teaching on Thursday and Friday. Thank you to Ms Wright for all her work with 4J and we wish her well in her new adventures for the rest of 2022.

Bookfair: This week we held our annual Bookfair in the hall. Thank you to the families who supported this event.  A percentage of book sales is returned to the school as credits so we are able to purchase new books for the school library. These credits provide us with the opportunity to keep our library well stocked with updated and current titles.
