Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Term 2 is quickly passing by and the end of semester is approaching.

On Friday many of our year 5 and 6 students participated in a Gala Day where they had the opportunities to play Rugby league, Flag Footy and Netball against other Capricorn Coast Schools. A great day was had by all. Thanks to the teachers and staff who make these days possible.

Classes are busy completing their final Semester One assessments and teachers are writing report cards to ensure you are informed of your child's progress at school. Report cards will be emailed home on the last day of term. Please take this opportunity to share in and celebrate your child's growth and successes for the year so far. At times reports can cause concerns and frustrations as well. Firstly focus on the positive aspects of the report acknowledging even small improvements, emphasize on the importance of doing the very best job they can and encourage them to succeed in realistic terms. Make a plan and set some achievable goals together for the new semester.
